Anita Somani

Anita is a Partner & Leader with the Assurance practice and operates out of Mumbai. She has over 18 years of experience, with a focus on financial statement audit and accounting advisory services in India.  

Prior to joining the firm, Anita worked with two large accounting firms wherein she was also a member of various technical working groups, quality review teams and operations in charge of assurance practice. 

Her areas of expertise include audit and review of financial statements and systems of global entities and large Indian conglomerates.  Her experience cuts across various industry sectors. Her experience also spans conducting audits of financial statements prepared under US GAAP and IFRS.  Anita has experience in dealing with Capital Market transactions in India and US.
