Corporate Communications

27 January 2022

A leading business news website carried a story this morning (27 January 2022) highlighting information of a recent case of reported sexual harassment and discriminatory behaviour by a senior Partner at BDO India.

BDO India has a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of sexual harassment, and safety of women colleagues is the firm’s utmost priority.

In response to the POSH complaints, the necessary process is in place at the firm. An independent statutory committee set up per specific provisions of the law (Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace – Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal (The POSH) Act, 2013) is investigating the alleged complaint.

We would like to emphasise that the firm takes all matters relating to employee safety, protection and welfare with utmost seriousness and is doing everything in its power to ensure that we stand by what is right.
