He has over 35 years of experience in leading solutions and teams in areas including ESG, Sustainability & Human Development, Climate Action, Resource Efficiency, Sustainable Technology, Renewable Energy, and Climate Financing. He has provided advisory services to corporates, governments, multilateral and bilateral agencies, as well as not-for-profits on sustainability-related matters. 

Dipankar has developed and led the sustainability practice of a leading global professional services firm, initially in India and later in the Middle East and North African region, which involved advising marquee clients across diverse sectors such as Metallurgy & Mining, Power & Utility, Oil & Gas, Chemicals & Fertilizers, Cement, Pulp & Paper, Manufacturing, Agro-processing, Automotive, Real Estate, Health Care, Transportation, Construction, Biofuel, Telecom, IT/ITES, and Financial Services. Prior to joining BDO in India, Dipankar also established and led the sustainability & climate change practice at a boutique consulting firm along with his team.
 
He is a respectable thought leader on the subject and frequently participates as a speaker or moderator at conferences. Additionally, he collaborates with industry associations for policy advocacy.
