Amrit Sethi

Amrit is a Partner in Cyber Security and leads the Cyber Managed Services practice at BDO India. With over 30 years of experience in Cyber leadership and consulting, he has worked as a CISO and practitioner across industries and has built cyber capabilities and teams. His areas of expertise include Cyber Defence, AI Risk Management, Cyber Strategy, Detection and Response, Digital Trust, Identity and Access Management, Enterprise Security, Cloud Security and Managed Security Services.

Prior to joining BDO India, Amrit worked in leadership and consulting roles across industry verticals and geographies. He has advised on Cloud strategies, security frameworks and Managed Services, and led engagements across APAC, MEA, Europe, Australia and the US.

His experience includes serving as an Advisory CISO and Group CISO, leading Global Demand Management for technology and cyber adoption, rollout and support across 90 countries, and designing and deploying cyber defence centres supporting IT and OT operations. He has also led Cyber Defence teams with capabilities across Threat Hunting, Agentic Build and Threat Research-enabled detections.

His industry experience spans BFSI, FMCG, Pharma, Ports and Airports, Power, Manufacturing, Telecommunications and IT/ITES. He has also worked across IT and OT Asset Management, Network Security and Enterprise Security Architecture, including Zero Trust Architecture and Mobile Device Management.
