CBIC issues notifications pursuant to 56th GST Council meeting

Pursuant to the recommendations made in the 56th GST Council meeting, CBIC has issued notifications inter alia amending the GST rates on various goods and services and also issued the notification mandating E-Commerce Operators to pay GST on the local delivery services supplied through such operators. Additionally, the Government has also amended certain provisions under the Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017 and forms there under.
