Navigating M&A Deal activity during and post COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a global economic downturn, resulting in a significant number of M&A deals being renegotiated, stalled or even called off. 

However, given the circumstances, M&A activity in the global market will not come to a complete standstill. Acquirers who have ample liquidity and with a high risk propensity are likely to take advantage of the situation and secure their deals with more favourable pricing.
