E-invoicing_The Automation Solution
19 August 2020
With the objective of enhanced interoperability and uniform interpretation across the entire Goods and Service Tax (GST) eco-system, e-invoicing will be implemented in a phased manner in India from 01 October 2020 for businesses with a turnover more than INR 500 crore and subsequently for other businesses.
The E-Invoicing compliance requires raising invoices in a common schema (structured data). The proposed E-invoicing requirement would lend transparency and uniformity to this key component of the GST compliance framework.
To help businesses align existing systems to the required e-invoicing standards and ensure a smooth transition, we at BDO in India, offer an end-to-end automated solution to manage e-invoice compliances securely and seamlessly.
