BDO Employee Mobility Report

We are pleased to share with you the 2017 edition of the BDO Employee Mobility Report, entitled Perceptions of employee mobility in a climate of change.

The first survey on this topic was conducted in 2012 and the results in this second, 2017, edition of the Report show that there is currently a greater demand for an internationally mobile workforce than at any time in history. New data further shows that employees’ needs are changing: now it is expectations beyond remuneration that are influencing the acceptance of relocation offers.

The report succinctly covers the drivers that dictate the willingness for an employee to relocate. While Employee job security and family concerns continue to be at the forefront of incentives, some of the other key drivers that influence employees willingness to relocate are as below:
