- High Court of Allahabad - Exemption on goods supplied to and from Duty-Free Shops (‘DFS’) and refund of any accumulated un-utilized Input Tax Credit (ITC) is allowed
- AAR – Kerala - Manufacturing services on physical inputs owned by the principal would qualify to be a ‘service’ by way of ‘job-work’
- CESTAT - Chandigarh - Service tax would not be leviable on the activity of mere transaction of the sale and purchase of land. The transfer of development rights is a benefit arising from the land, consequently, must be held to be an ‘immovable property’
- High Court of Delhi - Fixing an export obligation is not a matter of procedure, but is a substantive condition for availing duty-free imports against Advance Authorization
